How I choose affiliate networks to find programs.

The first consideration before you join an affiliate program should be tracking. If you are building a website around a niche topic and spending all that time and effort you need to make sure they are going to track your sales.

For the most part unless the affiliate program is being run in house you need to know what network they are on. I have a few favorite networks they are Shareasale, and Avantlink.com. When I am looking to join a program these are the networks that I scan first to find an affiliate program to fill my niche website. I have met personally with people from all of these networks and tracking and getting paid is the last thing that I am worried about.

Trust is a Key factor

These networks have some great programs and like I said it is where I start my search for programs every time. You will see these places mentioned on many pages on this site as I like working with them. If you are not familiar with these networks I suggest you join and take a look around.
